Hangin in Detroit at a boxing match.  His jacket has photos of all the people he knew who died.  I asked him to tell me about each person and how they died, when he took his jacket off to show me, his tshirt was filled with a few more people.  It has become the trend in Detroit to do these Memory shirts, the more friends you have that died, the more real you are.  I will upload the video soon…

Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke about confrontation with death saying: “it’s the quality, not the longevity, of one’s life is what is important.”.  Though Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in Jail, he always made quality use of his time.  We are fortunate to have such a courageous man live a fulfilled 95 years.  He lived by example, the greatest lesson for me, is that of FORGIVENESS.  His spirit lives on.
