Well, today was a quiet day for me here in Berlin.  Putting Religion aside, I took the time to reflect on what this holiday represents to me.  As a kid this quote was crammed into my memory: “Forgive them for they know not what they do” - what Jesus said while being nailed to the cross.  Today I heard this quote again… but this time, it struck me, its very powerful.  I feel ignorance is not a reason to excuse others of mistreatment… but in return, I shouldn’t be ignorant and respond in a poor manner.  To forgive others and yourself gives you freedom to move forward.  Hey, springtime and Easter symbolize a new clean slate -  So I am choosing to forgive, let go and move in a direction of pure intent.  Amen my brotha!
